IPO coverage now focuses on evergreen mechanics.
The standalone Moneyview brief was retired. The IPO directory now leads to the rebuilt fresh-issue/OFS guide, with original worked examples and a dated historical prospectus rather than open-offer coverage.
Why this matters
The guide explains cash recipients, gross and net proceeds, new-share dilution and how to read a filing. It does not require a new page for every offer or daily subscription updates.
Our first estimate rounded securities transaction tax to paise. Zerodha's published guidance rounds STT to the nearest rupee, with 50 paise rounded up. The model now rounds each taxable side of its one-buy, one-sell scenario that way.
Why this matters
A ₹50,000 delivery buy and sale still have ₹100 total STT. For a ₹50,000 intraday buy and sale, modeled sell-side STT changes from ₹12.50 to ₹13, increasing each broker's estimated total by ₹0.50. Multiple trades aggregated on a real contract note can differ from this one-pair estimate.
Small Groww delivery sales still incur a depository fee.
Our first model waived the entire DP debit below ₹100. Groww's DP help says only its ₹16.50 fee is waived; a male first holder still pays ₹3.50 depository fee plus GST, or ₹4.13.
Why this matters
We corrected the small-order estimate and broker profile. The ₹50,000 comparison example is unchanged. Groww's own calculator also shows an older DP figure, so our model follows its pricing page and detailed DP help.
Zerodha’s first-year AMC waiver has an account date.
Zerodha says AMC is free for the first year for primary resident-individual accounts opened on or after 1 June 2026. Secondary demat accounts do not receive that first-year waiver.
Why this matters
A blanket “free AMC” label would mislead readers with older or secondary accounts. After the first year, BSDA eligibility and holding value determine the charge.
For trading members, NSE revised its cash-market transaction charge and Investor Protection Fund Trust contribution from ₹297 + ₹10 to ₹306.99 + ₹0.01 per crore on each side.
BEFORE₹297 + ₹10
AFTER₹306.99 + ₹0.01
COMBINED TOTAL₹307 / crore per side
Why this matters
The combined amount remained ₹307 per crore per side. Our equity cost model therefore combines the two components; a different split printed on broker pages does not create a fee difference in that model.
